What phones are compatible with the RoamData Swiper?
What is RoamData?
RoamData is a 3rd party provider we use that provides us hardware that allows us to "swipe" credit cards. This is what the RoamData swiper looks like:
How does it work?
This swiper will plug into your device's audio jack.
What's the point?
While you still get charged the same credit card processing fee no matter if you manually type in a customer's credit card or use a swiper, using a swiper creates a "card present" situation which adds substantial credibility in case there are any disputes with any credit card providers.
This saves substantially on fees and possibly customer product returns.
OK - so what Phones will work with this device?
You can check whether your device will support this RoamData swiper by checking the following list below. This list is also available on RoamData's website on their Compatibility Page:
Will it still work if your phone isn't on that list?
The answer to that question is.... maybe... What it means is that these are the devices RoamData has tested and verified to work.
Your device "may" work, but it may not. You will need to test it yourself.
